Maggie and Jeremy’s Wedding

After 7 years, 6 apartments, 4 cities and 2 and half degrees, Jeremy, armed with flowers, popped the question and we are getting married! We have set a date for August 9, 2008 at the Eisner Museum in the Historic Third Ward in Downtown Milwaukee.

Yes it’s true, we are getting married. We have been together for 7 years and have decided to make it official. I did the web layout which is layed onto of the Core Expression Engine CMS. So look for updates, just really starting to finalize things for public knowlege.

JTodd was looking to carry on the “Versus Milwaukee” series started by the Rust Ps. It is a great series featuring some of the best and talented in the Milwaukee area. With a variety of influences and styles, this album is tight. JTodd is both a fabulous producer and hip-hop performer extraordinaire.

I just did the album artwork for this new album. I am very excited the way it turned out. Using elements from the first “Versus Milwaukee” album artwork done for the Rusty Ps I gave it a glossy makeover. The only instruction given by JTodd for the design was one word, “Technicolor”. So I took it to Combustion and created a short animation using a few colors, animating and morphing them together. I then took a few stills from that animation and those are used as the conglomerates of color in the backgrounds.
